Epsilon Chapter Participates at Matsuri 2012

Every Spring, the Japan Society at Columbia University hosts the Matsuri Spring Festival. The event is free of charge and is held in the outdoors in the middle of campus where students stop by and participate during their breaks. During this event, there are various activities and stands in which students can explore, from stands offering various Japanese cuisines, to arts and craft, to musicians playings Japanese music, to games and much more.

The brothers at Polytechnic Institute of NYU participated in this event by overseeing the cotton candy stand. For some brothers, it was the first time making cotton candy while other brothers had vital experience which helped tremendously. The brothers helped make cotton candy and gave it out to the students on campus. Brothers had a fun time making cotton candy which blew all over their clothes and faces. It was also a great time for brothers to work with the sisters of Kappa Phi Lambda Sorority at Columbia University as well as meet other asian organizations that participated in the event.
