Congratulations goes to Jeff "Emcee" Palmere for winning Mr. Alpha Sig 2016, hosted by the Sisters of Alpha Sigma Rho Sorority, Incorporated at Temple University. This was the first time that the Sisters of ASR hosted this competition.
Mr. Alpha Sig is a competition that seeks to bring attention to the philanthropies of the competing organizations. The competition was divided into three main components - Philanthropy Presentation, Talent, and Interview. Emcee represented Nu Alpha Phi and Wounded Warrior Project. Emcee went up against seven other competitors - from New York, New Jersey, and Maryland.

During his philanthropy presentation (each contestant was given three minutes), Emcee decided to forego a PowerPoint presentation and uniquely spoke over a rolling video that showcased the efforts of Wounded Warrior Project. "I didn't want to read a PowerPoint. I wanted to present real values, while showing what WWP actually does."

Next up was the talent portion. Emcee proudly took stage and showcased just some of the talent that Nu Alpha Phi has to offer. It became clear very fast why he is the national Step Master.
At the end of the interviews, Emcee was crowned Mr. Alpha Sig. Special thanks to the Brothers who attended the competition, and drove down to Philadelphia to support Emcee.
