Matthew "Covenant" Leung

On top of his success as an undergraduate, Matt was elected to the position of National Social Chair. His success in the position led to the first-ever Alumni Social, where Alumni from all Chapters gathered to share their successes and network with each other. Matt also picked up the mantle from his Pledge Brother, Ming "MOBB" Lama, and coordinated the 2015 Chapter Wars, an annual competition between Chapters. Matt has been a strong role model for Gamma Chapter, and his presence on the national platform has made him a strong leader for the fraternity.

Matt was awarded both honors at the National Banquet in New York City.

When asked about the wins, Matt said "To be honest, all I ever wanted to do was give back to the fraternity. I wanted to give back what I got. Naturally I dealt with obstacles when planning all the events, but seeing Bros have a good time is really what made it all worth it."

This is the second time a Gamma Chapter Brother has won Mr. Nu Alpha Phi. Last year, MOBB became the first Gamma Chapter Brother to win the award.

Fun fact - Covenant and MOBB are Pledge Brothers.
