Now that Rush Week is finally over, Nu Alpha Phi's Zeta Chapter gets back to doing what's really important - giving back to the community. We went to our community children's museum and volunteered for the Dinosaur Train which was an event hosted by PBS designed to educate children more about dinosaurs. It was a very rewarding feeling when we helped to teach children between the ages of 4 and 12 about the fascinating reptilian kings of the past. Seeing their amazement in the entire event was a joy to witness. Brothers had jobs face painting dinosaurs on kids' faces, working in the planetarium, and handling the animals that the kids were allowed to pet and meet.
After a long day at the museum, we all went to go eat at our favorite place, chowing down on a sushi buffet. We shared stories about each of our jobs and our interactions with the children. All in all it was a great day and props to Leon "Templar" Lei for setting up the event for us.
